The Dragonheart Academy is the heart of our educational outreach — a place where curiosity is encouraged, confidence is built, and hands-on learning creates meaningful connections between people and animals. Through interactive, experience-based programs, participants of all ages engage with reptiles, small animals, farm animals, and horses in a safe and supportive environment.
Participants have opportunities to learn about responsible reptile care, proper handling, habitat needs, and natural behaviors. They work with small and farm animals to understand feeding, grooming, enrichment, and basic husbandry. Equine sessions introduce the fundamentals of horse safety, grooming, leading, and communication, helping participants build trust and confidence around larger animals.
Every lesson at the Academy is designed to encourage empathy, responsibility, and respect for the animals who share our world. Programs explore topics such as animal behavior, body language, adaptations, care requirements, and the importance of ethical stewardship.
Ideal for schools, families, youth groups, and individual learners, the Dragonheart Academy blends structured education with memorable, hands-on experiences. Whether meeting fascinating reptiles up close, learning foundational horsemanship skills, or participating in multi-species care activities, each visit offers students the chance to grow, discover, and develop lifelong knowledge.
